Al Bara is first and foremost a story of friendship, between two friends: Zeina, the Syrian who had to rebuild everything upon her arrival in France in 2012, and Albane, the Frenchwoman, who at first glance seem to have nothing in common but who very quickly become inseparable.

The two friends decided to embark on the crazy adventure of importing mythical soaps from Aleppo, to continue to perpetuate an oriental and ancestral know-how while helping Syrian families to continue working there.
